Anne Quatrano to Join This Year's LEE Initiative Women Chefs Mentorship Program
Chef Anne Quatrano joins the LEE Initiative’s 2020 Women Chefs Mentorship Program. The Women Chefs Mentorship Program, in its third season, is a leadership development program for women chefs. Candidates undergo a rigorous application process to be selected for the six-month program, including a week-long externship with their mentors, among many other opportunities to elevate them as culinary leaders.
Started in 2015 in Louisville, KY by Chef Edward Lee and Lindsey Ofcacek, The LEE Initiative creates impactful programming and initiatives to promote diversity and equality in the restaurant industry for the next generation of professionals.
The team of mentors consists of highly successful chefs willing to share industry knowledge, passion, and business tips. Anne is among other industry vets including: Katie Button, executive chef and CEO of Katie Button Restaurants, Cúrate and Button & Co. Bagels in Asheville, North Carolina, Ashley Christensen, owner of Poole’s Diner, Beasley’s Chicken and Honey, Death and Taxes, Chuck’s and Fox Liquor Bar in Raleigh, North Carolina, Nina Compton, owner of Compere Lapin in New Orleans, and Joanne Chang, owner of Flour Bakery in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
